CYCLING TO BLANSKO CASTLE

Take a bike ride to the ruins of Blansko Castle near Ústí nad Labem. The trip is about 32 km long and the route is moderately demanding.
Set off from Ústí nad Labem along the Elbe Trail to Velky Brezno, 10 km away. Here, connect to the cycle route No. 3066 and take the ferry Velké Březno - Povrly to the left bank of the Elbe to the village of Povrly. Cross Povrly and continue along cycle route 3066 into the hills of the Bohemian Central Highlands. The route leads past the local swimming pool where you can stop and take a dip. Then continue to the village of Mirkov. Here, disconnect from cycle route 3066 for a while and climb about 1.5 km to Blansko Castle. The final climb is quite challenging so there is no shame in pushing a bit :) The view from Blansko is certainly worth it... Enjoy the beautiful view and read interesting information about the castle. After a rest, continue back along the same route to Mirkov and then again along the cycling route No. 3066 of the village of Lipová. Here you will disconnect from the cycle route and take the side roads through Libov, Radešín and Chuderov back to Ústí nad Labem.️ You can end the trip with a delicious beer at Pivovar Hotel Na Rychtě.
